Coach Alex Exsisto is a 25+ year veteran of the martial arts, having coached Muay Thai for over 15 years. In 2004, at the age of 17, Alex started his professional Muay Thai career based out of the legendary Mauy Thai camp Jockygym in Bangkok, Thailand. Jockygym was well known as the pinnacle of the elusive technical style of Muay Thai gyms. Producing such fighters as Seanchai Sor Kingstar, Lerdsila Chumpaetour, Somrak Kamsing among many more.

After transitioning away from competition Alex honed his coaching skills through years of holding pads with fighters across Thailand. His career, spanning 15 amateur boxing fights and 15 professional Muay Thai fights, was capped off being personally tutored in the finer aspects coaching by his teacher Ajarn Pipa Jockygym, the mastermind behind Jockygym and Champions like Saenchai and Lerdsila. From there Alex spent two years as the striking coach at BombSquad in Ithaca, NY.

Alex relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2017 and now is the Muay Thai Coach at Jackson Wink MMA Academy. While Alex enjoys opportunities to work with the legendary fighters at the gym his true focus is helping produce the next generation of Jackson Wink champions. Coach Alex specializes in true Thai style Muay Thai but prides himself in the ability to adapt his coaching style for all fighting styles. Alex adjusts to each fighters natural abilities and helps them bring the best out of their own styles.
